So, anybody here decide to replace their 2008 Late 15" Unibody with a current 13" Unibody?

No, but I did purchase a 13" uMBP to replace my late 2007 15" MBP as my primary work/office machine. Already upgraded the RAM to 4GB, and have a 320GB WD Scorpio Blue standing by for eventual replacement of the stock drive.

So far, I'm not really missing the extra screen real estate. Most of what I do can be scaled down to the 13" display without any issues, and the way Expose is integrated with the multi-touch gesture system makes managing windows a breeze compared with the old 15"

Battery life is phenomenal, and the 9400M is a good performer despite being an integrated GPU. It plays World of Warcraft flawlessly, something I couldn't say for my long retired white Macbook with Intel GMA950 graphics.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. The only thing that really still sort of bothers me is that I spent $2500 for the 15" new (versus $1100 for the 13") and will probably only be able to get about $800 for it, but that's to be expected.

I downsized my Early 2008 15" Macbook Pro to the current 13" MBP. Does that count still? :D

How does this work??? Sounds great.

Swiping up or down on the trackpad with four fingers respectively activates show desktop or show all windows in Expose. A lot more convenient than hot corners or using the function keys, especially when you're using Expose on a regular basis.
