Having skipped ipad 4 I am eager to own an ipad 5 when its announced. I miss that big product launch and opening a shiny new ipad. Owning an IOS gadget for more than a year makes it feel old and dull.

I reckon we will see the iPad 5 with the iPad Mini form factor. Should be interesting!

I have an iPad 3 and am not planning on upgrading as I only use it for video and occasional web browsing. But, I might nudge the girlfriend to pick one up :p

I have an iPad 4 that I love so for now I'm not excited about the iPad 5. That will probably change when it comes out however.

i get my ipad4 next week i wanted a ipad5 but i cant waite till fall.
i cant go that long with out a tablet lol

Depends on the specs, the size and weight of the Mini 2. I may be more excited about it for the price than the 5. :D

Pretty excited hoping it delivers (in terms of new hardware, software and an overall upgrade)

Looking forward to both this and the Mini. I have started typing up all my notes for university so hoping to get an iPad to take to class for my 2nd year in September, its a pain reading them on the iPhone!

Well if you use the iPad like me (99.99% web browsing), you wouldn't really give a damn. My iPad does what I want it do, and it does it perfectly

I sure am. I can't wait. Although I have to say the mini is looking pretty good too. So if they bring out the 5 as a new form factor, and bring out a retina mini, I will have a hard time choosing which I go with.

Excited about getting the ipad 5...Nope

Returned my iPad 3 since it had the back facing speakers (Away from user) which were low, and hard for me to hear well. iPad 4 same way. Now, if Apple gets it right with the iPad 5, and has the user facing stereo speakers, than I'm in. :D

We’re all plenty familiar with the iPad by now, so Steve may hold off until closer to launch to debut the new tablet.

I recently sold my iPad 3 and I often miss it. However, I am more excited about the possibility of a Mini with retina. It's already a painful wait, and if it the Mini doesn't get retina this year, I'll probably buy an iPad 5.
