Anybody else have their Airtag just fall apart?

I have mine in the Apple leather keychain, and I just found it in pieces on the floor at work. Didn't even realize it came apart. Nothing crazy about my keys, makes me worry these won't last

Sounds to me as though you may have partially undone the battery casing when you put it into its case.

I have 4 of them. All in keychains. Nothing like this has happened.

So, in all likelihood, you dropped it and someone ran over it with something heavy?

Sorry no it was't broken, but it apparently, without me realizing, came open and fell out of the case when I took my keys out of my pocket. The battery and silver backing were on the ground and the white side was stuck in the case. I thought the case would at least keep it together. Maybe it was a weird one off? Time will tell.

I had something like this on my car keys... I was using the Belkin keyring holder and must have put pressure and twisted the silver back... Luckily I noticed while everything was still in my pocket. I've moved on from using the open Airtag holders now out of fear it happens again.
