I doubt it will be as sought after as the 1st gen iPod is now, but it may go up in value as time goes on. I just bought a sealed 1st gen 8gb iPhone on eBay for $418.

heh, i sold my 6 month old iphone for $415. score.
i "sold" mine twice for $600 (in the UK) - but it was to Nigerian scammers
(I didnt actually sell it, it was obvious but i am now relisting for the 3rd time, with Buy It Now option removed)

Third times a charm. But even though you got scammed TWICE, you keep coming back for more. Wow. Tis why I don't like ebay.

just use craigslist. With a face to face handoff, it's almost impossible to get scammed. that is of course unless they rob you on the scene...:eek:

jk, just bring backup

You mean as a collector's item? If so, it'd be much better to have a 4GB sealed iPhone, because of how rare those'll be.

Just list it with only a buy it now price, and immediate payment required via paypal. Problem solved.
