Anybody getting random AIM messages?

Lately, I've been getting spam messages from a couple of people on my AIM list. Since I have 2 SN's, and most people have both of them, those spam messages come to me on both of my SN's at the same time, making me think that they're effecting the users whole buddy list.

They're always random sites that when you click on it, it asks you for your AIM username/password, so if you enter it, I guess it makes your screen name a spambot?

Guess that's a fairly smart way for people to get passwords off stupid people.

I get these from my friends addresses on windows live aswell, anyone with an infected account/PC can turn into a spam bot.


Just ignore them, Adium has a beta spam blocker in aswell!

Well, I just tell those people to change their passwords.

I used to get them from time to time but I have not gotten one since I switched-I doubt one has to do with the other

I keep getting weird Skype messages, even though I don't have any skype friends, usually inviting me to a... uh, "webcam"

i wonder if someone added you to a list..

I have been too, but i don't use AIM. I been getting spam from people on my list. About loosing weight etc.
