I could see this being used if your going to ship the computer some where or put it in the car stuffed with luggage. Other than that it looks completely pointless and too expensive.

I cannot even imagine why I would want to cover my iMac. It is pointless for normal use, and totally inadequate for shipping.

Maybe a new software update will enable touch screen iMacs. So it's probably a good investment before they become too expensive when everyone starts buying them.

???? This thing is made of stretch microfiber velvet... so you cannot see the screen. Why would a touch screen make it more useful?
