I plan on selling this 2010 MBP for whatever the next generation MacBook Air is. I have way too many problems with this and made the horrible mistake of purchasing a display model from Best Buy. Does anybody have any success stories on selling a used MBP? What sites/services do you recommend?

Thanks to all who answer.

Craigslist and eBay I use frequently.

Also if you are active on other forums I've had good luck selling my stuff in the for sale section in the forums, as it is easier to communicate with prospective buyers.

So you want to sell your defective machine to someone else

Maybe the best thing to do is trade it in for the new model you are looking for, like PowerMax.com or a few others. You can start getting quotes NOW for a trade in.

At least the unlucky person that buys it will get the standard store warranty.

It's a 2010...what warranty issues did you have or take care of? Did you purchase Applecare or the Best Buy extended warranty, or anything similar? All of those will have a major impact on the price you should settle for and even how quickly it will sell.
