Anybody have luck getting new battery for 6S Plus

My wife's 6S plus dies at around 30% all the time. Everything I read about the battery exchange issue only mentions the smaller 6S.... I also tried putting her serial number in the tool and it wasnt covered. I have a genius appt. for saturday morning and I was wondering if anyone had any luck getting Apple to exchange a 6S plus battery out of warranty?

Most probably you have to pay for the new battery, unfortunately...

Do a full reset (then restore from iCloud backup). This fixed my wife's 6s+ dying at 30-50% so far.
