Hey all, I've been wandering if anyone on MR has ever been on "Kairos" for a long time. So, anybody been or heard about it? I'm not going to go into explaining it all (far too much to explain). As a junior last year, I went on K85 (G3), and as a senior I just got back from leading K87 (G3).

Anybody Here Been On "Kairos"

The juniors in my computer apps class and my senior friend talk about it and they all say that it's awesome, but I'm not a big fan of retreats myself. I'm not planning on going when I'm a junior.
I went to a similar event in the Episcopal Church known as Happening. Your peers (10-12 graders) run the retreat themselves. We holed up in a church all weekend. It's pretty awesome. I've been involved in one way or another for years in an adult role as well.
It's pretty awesome. Teaches unconditional love, you're not alone, etc, without the pressure of 'being saved.' Of course, that's the Episcopal Church in a nutshell.
I think it's something everyone should experience once.
