I know everybody has made a big deal about the fast charger in the box but I’m yet to use mine. When the battery life is so insane I can’t see a reason why I would need a cable. I wirelessly charge everyday for my watch and air pods with my nomad wireless pad and can’t say I will need to charge via cable

Anybody else in the same boat?

I’ve been using my 61W MBP adapter since I got a XR last year so I’m more than used to charging it for 30 minutes before leaving for work and having all-day battery life instead of leaving it for hours on end on a charging pad

Mine is still in the box. Didn’t use it yet. Will probably take it out for my holiday in December.

Actually, I totally forgot about that until reading your post. It’s still in the box. I have so many chargers from Apple, Anker, Belkin...No sense it taking it out of the box. Just makes the phone more sellable later.

I'll probably never take it out of the box. I have several Apple OEM 30 watt chargers and Apple USB-C to Lightning cables if I ever really need a faster charge. Most of the time I charge wirelessly.

I’ve used mine for the first time last night since getting my launch day pro Max.

I own a dual 20 Watt wireless charger, and several 5 watt/12 watt chargers.

I just slow charge with my 5 watt chargers though. Battery health is still at 100%

That reminds me that I need to test mine because it's still in the box. Between CarPlay and Qi chargers my phone is always juiced up.

Never took the charger and cable away from box of X or XS Max. Won’t take it out from Pro Max. I wireless charge with my dual setup (Samsung made) . Sits on my night table place it overnight while I sleep. Lowest battery I’ve gotten to on my Pro Max is 20%.

I took it out and I went back to 65W, my xs max needed to be charged 2-3x a day and my pro max is looking to need to be charged 2x a day as well. Still meh battery life for me.

I used it once to see how it charges, it does a pretty good job. But still rather use my Nomad wireless charging pad throughout the night.

Wait what 2x times a day? I run a business with 3 warehouses from my Pro Max. So my screen isn’t used for social media. Instead emails. Calls. Text. Safari. Yet my Pro Max lasted me a whole day easy.

Wife and I haven't used ours. We have wireless chargers at our desks and work desks. I go to sleep with my phone at 99% and wake up with it at 98% (unplugged).

I bet I could get 5 days of use out of my 11 Pro Max.

Nice to have, but I'll probably never use it. I'm just happy for another USB C to Lightning cable for my MacBook :).

I’m getting around 15% drain an hour. Wiped my device re-installed the OS limited my apps and I’m still getting **** lol it’s ok. Still slightly better than my xs max so I’ll take it

15% drain per hour isn’t normal. I think something is wrong with your device. On the XS Max I had to throw it on the mat for 30 minutes during lunch time so by the time I got home at 5-6 pm I would be at 20%-30%. On the Pro Max I’m still at 30%-40% around 8-9 pm. Off charger since 6:20 am.

Doubt it honestly. Stats show I receive on average 700 notifications a day, and I pick up my phone 200 times on average. (That’s not social media notifications, I just have badges for those now). I’m just always on my phone wether it’s for school or work or job searching.

I understand. Im like you too. I have over 1000+ customers. I handle tons of orders daily via email and texts. What’s your daily average screen time?

That's amazing! That phone is getting some good usage. Absolutely amazing though - draining an XS Max / 11 Pro Max 2x a day. Heh.

My wife works at a university and she get quite a few notifications too - but her phone usually lasts her a day. Me? I'm lucky if my phone goes below 90% after a heavy day. lol.
