Just curious as to what kind of speeds you get with it in QuickBench either over eSata or FW800 with say an X-25M.

I have one, but never tried it with my X25M. I imagine that you'll saturate the FW800 with reads but get about the same as SATA with writes (a bit slower). eSATA should be the same as an internal.
 
Well if eSATA can do the same as external that would be very impressive.

I've got a BC338 on the way but my X-25M 80 is in an external enclosure right now that supports both USB2 and eSata. I'm looking forward to getting my BC338 eSata card because right now the x-25M gives me 23 MB/s read speeds over USB 2

I strongly suspect though that the bridge isn't Oxford so it's probably not going to be as good as an Oxford based enclosure.
