A co-worker sold me a 1st gen 64gb for $240 today.
Ask around, most of my friends upgrade all their devices yearly and sell for a lot less....there's plenty of folks like that out there!

Resale prices on apple products always surprise me. Signs of a quality product.

I just did a search, and found numerous 32 gig iPads in the LA are fr $350 and less.

After they add the item to your cart for checkout, the price changes to $399. That's the sale price.

Can you give me a link? I called verizon earlier this week and was told $499 for 64gb, $399 for 32gb which they were sold out of.

Thanks so far, but I've had no luck on CL and verizon only has 64gb left ($499).

I can give you the reps extention that I talked to and ordered from. I sold my 32gb on eBay a couple weeks ago. I was going to get the iPad 2 BUT I saw the Verizon deal on slickdeals and called and placed an order. The 1st rep I talked too sd 499. I hung up and called right back and the lady knew exactly what I was talking about and took my order. I ordered on a Sunday night and received it tues or weds.

Definitely give VZ a call, I just picked a 64GB one up for $399. Their cases were like 3 bucks for the back shells. They said they have 8000 total in warehouse, but the stores can order them and it will take a couple days, luckily I found a local one with them in stock. Try calling ones closest to you first.

Is that with internet on a month to month basis, or do you have to get a contract?

Im thinking of selling my iphone 3gs and copping a 32 gb 1st gen Ipad for the same price.. My IT job gets real slow and i could def use one of these to pass the time.....

Out of curiosity, why would Verizon, or AT&T for that matter, want to sell a WiFi-only iPad? They make their money on the 3G contracts and they certainly can't do that with a WiFi-only iPad.

I saw a couple in the glass iPod/mp3 player display case for sale at the local Hastings book/music/video store about two weeks ago.

That's what I'm thinking. I have only seen VZW and ATT with 3g versions, never a wifi only.

I bought a 32GB wifi only from Verizon a few weeks ago for $399. The 64GBs were $499. If they've gone down to $399, I'm gonna be ticked, lol.
