Anybody managed to publish an iPhoto journal to cloud?

I've tried everything I can think of.

I tap share to iCloud on, I get the spinning wheel showing its doing something.... And that's it.

It Stays like this for hours!

Anybody else having better luck?

i had this problem once, tried to publish it, but i had the circle moving constantly instead..

i dont know if it wld help.
i read thru other forums, they say to delete it. so since i already made my journal - i tried to save the journal into my mac via the sync option in itunes so i wouldnt have to redo it again.

i initially had some error trying to save it via itunes, it appears the file didnt exist. so i retried the export via itunes again.

eventually somehow the file was created, and i just toggle the publish, and it worked. not sure why.
 
It didn't take long at all to upload, but I have a 5mb upload at home so I'm sure it varies depending on upload speed.

The biggest minus is the url that goes on forever. It would be nice if the journal home page could be like icloud.com/account name

yes, a friendly URL (With privacy settings) would make it nice to share with family and friends
 
I read somewhere that the journals can't be deleted after they've been uploaded. The photos can be deleted, but the actual journal cannot.

I uploaded one and when you delete from iPhoto and try the link again, it just shows as there being no journal at that link.
 
Also, sparkstsa, can you confirm that you can access that journal on your iPad offline?

Hmm, I don't see down arrow anywhere watching it on my iPad.

Edit: I see, when I view from my Mac I saw down arrow.

Because I was using iPhoto on my iPad.

Apologies for not picking the correct forum, I don't know what I was thinking

Anyhow, back to reality....

I got it working in the end.

I didn't do anything particularly different... but it just worked eventually.

Looks just as good on safari! :)

I was able to post one the other day from our trip to Vegas and sent it to all our friends. I unfortunately took it down again because I screwed something up, but back when I tried it, it worked fine.
