Some of my classmates are dumb enough to mistake my iPhone 3G as an iPod Touch. Anybody mistaken your iPhone for an iPod Touch before? What was your reaction?

Yes its happened to me and i must admit i was quite disgusted with the silly person who thought my lovely white iPhone was an iPod! lol :D

One way to tell is where the headphones are located.

iPhone - Top
iPod - Bottom

But everyone doesn't know that though.

And no, it has never happened to me.

Yep and I hate it when they call my iPhone an iTouch. I hate it not for they call it an iPod Touch but they call it an iTouch. It gets on my nerves.

I've actually told flight attendants that my iphone was an ipod many times.
I think it's silly they don't allow you to use phones in flight mode over here in Europe.

I used to ave an itouch first gen and people would ask if my Itouch was an iPhone but I'd say nope just a itouch. Then when i upgraded from an itouch to the iPhone, people would ask if my iPhone was an itouch I'd tell them no it's an iPhone but I used to own an itouch.
