Anybody open the new 15" yet?

Do you just remove screws in the panel because it's sticking for me?

It's not coming off as easy as say the 13" did.

Is there anything else you have to do to remove the panel from the 2010 15"?

Nope. Remove the screws, it pops right off. Had mine open a couple of times for an SSD swap.

I opened mine a few days ago. Yes, it does stick more than the old 13, but when you pull harder it comes out easily. You just need to force it just a bit. Be careful that you remove every screw first, of course

I had this same issue today. I've removed the bottom of my girlfriend's 13" MBP, but today when first taking off the bottom, it wouldn't come off. Turns out, there are clips, as seen here:

So basically, yeah you need to pull a bit harder.

I'm not sure if that's new to the i5, or just the 15" in general.

won't be opening until next year or so, when some extra spendable cash comes my way to buy a ssd + more ram
