Mine is starting to malfunction. It doesn't always register a click when I push it.

I'm out of warranty, so I'm assuming that if I have Apple replace it I'll get charged..... Anybody know how much this would cost?

Also, I see the part on iFixit for $15, anybody replaced one of these themselves?

Thanks

I'm also in a similar position. Out of warranty, and my home button doesn't respond all the time. I found a guy to repair it (found through google). Says he can replace it and it would cost me around $25, and it will take 45 min.

I'll let u know how it goes in a couple of days
