If yes does it break your phone? Does every action you take happen in slow motion? I remember I updated my original iPad to IOS5 and it became the most unusable device I have ever owned!

256mb of ram on iOS 5 is death.

iPhone 4 is a bit slower but still runs much better than an iPad 1/3GS on iOS 5.

I already have IOS5 on my Iphone 4. Question is ..is it worth to upgrade to IOS 6 beta and IOS 6?

for me it actually runs faster than iOS 5 which I had previously. but I also had a jailbreak then and I'm not sure if that maybe slowed the phone down. whatever, it really is amazingly fast for me.

I have it on my iPhone 4. It actually runs better than iOS 5 if you can believe it.

I agree that IOS 6 Beta 4 runs much better on my iPhone 4 than IOS 5 did. I really like it.

Advantage? You get to be a BETA TESTER and test out an IOS before it hits prime time for users..........
Yeah, I know, but beta testing iOS doesn't excite me anymore. I meant advantages of what will be the finished product. It looks like you're loosing more than you're gaining (youtube app and google maps for example).

(in before some fool says "but it's not finished yet, how can you know what will be in the finished release!!!!!!1!!")

unless you are in the "jailbreak or die" camp, there really is no reason NOT to update to the latest iOS for your device. updates are free, and you get all the latest security features, along with performance and memory enhancements/updates.

if YouTube and google maps is a deal breaker for you?... wow. as of right now, each app is available through safari. enter classic view in google maps and you get all the same features you would get from the desktop version. and the youtube site in safari is light-years ahead of the built in app.

run fine without any issue.

Don't get all the bells and whistles with apple maps, but the phone is running smoother.

not sure if this applies to the iPhone 4 but my 4S has a dramtically improved battery life on Beta 4 typically by now it would be about 50-60% im rocking at 71% right now

Its running fine on my iPhone 4! I love the facebook integration and the new mail feature. Not really having an issue with battery, seems to be running smoothly!
