Anybody still using OS 1.0?

Out of curiousity, I wonder if anybody is still using OS 1.0 on their iPhone.. My 1st gen iPod Touch is still running OS 1.13.. :eek:

Anybody?
 
why would anybody still use that old of software
the majority of people i know dont want to upgrade since it costs 10 dollars but sooner or later they cave in for it
i reckon the few with 1.0 either dont want to pay to ugrade/dont care / and unboxedphones
 
i havea friend on 1.1.4 on his 1st gen iphone. he wont upgrade because he likes his vnc app. even though i told him they have them on the app store. naivety ftl.

I'm sure there are plenty of them, those who only connected the phone to iTunes way back when they first activated it and then just used it as a phone. Those people that never knew that there would be updates because they are used to all those other phones.
 
I have two friends that are still on 2.0 3g phone. They said they don't care because it works for them.....
 
In the world I live, if you have an iPhone you're already craving the next update. I have a couple of friends who won't pay for the 3.0 on Touch but they'll give in... they always do.
 
Anyone who still have 1.0 will probably don't even know what firmware upgrade is. Most likely don't use itunes either. or worse don't have internet.

the people who have gotten at least 2 texts from apple/att to upgrade
 
My girlfriend had 1.x on her iPod Touch until I tossed her into my dev account so she could get 3.0 for free. I was sick of seeing 1.0 on there, jailbroken and all.

That would be an extremely small group of people.
 
Isn't it sad also that me (running a 1st gen iPod Touch) has 3.0? Funny thing is that I had dial-up until a little less than a month ago....

So, I dunno about the excuses of you iPhone owners. Updates are FREE for you guys.

I've spent $40 already...... I deserve a hug or sumthin' at this point...

Has it been a year already? :eek:

I had an iPod touch and loved it so much that I then got a 3G at around the release of the 2.0 update and whilst I had a nice phone, the OS was a mess.

Safari crashing regularly and forgetting the last page you were on was my biggest hate. Thankfully, 3.0 rarely crashes for me now! :cool:

The thing really has matured well.
 
My sister still has 1.0 on her OG iPhone. God knows why. I asked her why and she said "it takes too long too update."

I've tried. I really have.
