Anybody tried the USB 3 or Firewire 800 module of Seagate Freeagent GoFlex Desk?

Hello. I bought the 2T version of the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk few days ago. It is quite satisfactory. As most of you know, the base model comes with USB 2.0 interface and that we can upgrade it to USB 3 or Firewire 800. I am considering to buy the USB 3 or Firewire 800 module. Anybody tried the drive with the Firewire 800 module under both Mac OS/X and Windows Vista 64-bit? Is it much faster than USB 2? Does the USB 3 version works well under Windows? Thanks.
