Anybody tried Winclone 3?

Hello, I cloned the Windows 7 bootcamp partition using Winclone 2.2 under Snow Leopard. I cannot restore the partition on the same machine. Anybody tried Winclone 3? Any success in solving similar problem using this version? Thanks.

I just purchased Winclone 3 and successfully cloned and moved my Windows 7 64-bit partition from my old MacBook Air to my new one. It was well worth the $20.

Note that sometimes when moving to a completely new Mac with a different processor and chipset, you might need to run some extra steps in order to get the restored partition working correctly on your new Mac.

Check out this thread. Maybe you can try uninstalling all the old Boot Camp drivers before cloning it, but if not, it would be useful to have a USB keyboard and mouse handy.

I cannot restore the partition on the same machine.

Would help if you specified exactly how/why it fails. Post any error messages or logs.
