Anybody use a sleeve-type phone case?

What’s your experience in using a sleeve-type phone case? How protective is it? It’s less convenient since you have to take the phone out of the sleeve and put it back in the sleeve when you’re done using it. What do you do with the sleeve when you’re using the phone?

I think sleeve is an odd usage model, since I prefer to have instant access to the device's screen.

Another approach might be sleeve that's attached to a bag or holster. I miss the BlackBerry days when wearing a holster was actually a thing.

With the phones becoming bigger and heavier every year, we need to explore new ways of carrying.
