Anybody use with Mac Pro FireWire HDD?

Boot Camp 1.1 realised, but SATA problem in Win XP / Pac Pro still exist.
So, what if this is the solution?

Use External Hard Drive USB 2.0/FireWire? Install Windows XP on it - speed factor increase, or not?
