anybody using anything other than a mac display for an external monitor?

Just got a 15 in. MBP for doing photo editing (LR3) and I wanted to get a secondary monitor. I wanted to know if anyone is using anything other than a mac display for this purpose. I was looking at the 27 in. thunderbolt display but for $1k, I was thinking of a little less expensive option. Thanks.

There are millions using MBPs with non-Apple displays. There's certainly no need to go with an Apple display unless you choose to.

The TB display has some nice features that differentiate it from other screens, but it would be nice if it was available in antiglare.

As good as they are, I could never justify the cost of an Apple display.

A creaky El Cheapo 23" Dell here. It gets me by and you can't beat the extra real estate on a MBP 13".
