Should I be afraid of the LED burning out?
I get texts every few minutes. I'm scared of ruining the Flash.

Is it killing battery life?

What do you think of the feature?

I have the LED flash turned on as well. I wouldn't worry about it since LED rarely burns out comparing to traditional filament bulb. Besides, iphones look waay cooler when you have white led flashing. :D

So... LEDs can burn for over 50,000 hours.

Sure you're using a bit more of your battery, but unless if it seems like it's draining quickly, you should feel free to leave it on.

Does your flash pulsate or does it just flash once?

So, I'd have to leave the flash on constantly running for about 5.2 years (I asked Siri :D) for it to burn out? If so, awesome!

Pulsates when someone's calling.

It pulsates quickly, but only while receiving the alert. Actually love how it works.

Why don't you use the sound alerts? I've had to silence my phone because I will get them on my phone and iPad right at the same time. Those are better than an LED considering you'll hear the sound from anywhere in the vicinity.

You can have both turned on at the same time. I use it on my 4 and love it.
