anybody worked in a new cartooning software toonit?

I would like to do the cartooning effect like the movie Scanner Darkly, or the Charles Schawb spots, on my mac.......but toonit requires FCP 4 or later..out of my price range....is there any plug in that would do this effect in imovie?

Are you sure toonit won't work with the latest Final Cut Express 4? It supports the FCP fxplug engine ( previous versions of FCE did not ), so I'm guessing it will work.

It seems toonit has a "try it" option, so someone with FCE 4 might be able to test this for you.

toonit FCP

i was able to get the promo trial version to work on my son's FCP 4.5.....the effect is very cool.....however it takes an hour of render time,for about one secound of Toonit effect......but it looks excellent
