I have a 3GS (on iOS5 beta obviously) and can not make the reminders fire when I leave or arrive at a location. I saw other threads where people were complaining that setting one makes location services run constantly and kills battery life. Well, when I set one I never see the location services arrow in the status bar.

Just wondering if they actually work in Beta1.

Two things:

1) They don't work against Exchange accounts.
2) You need to make sure you hit "done" twice, as either cancel button will wipe out the changes.

They don't work against Exchange accounts.

Not sure I understand that, how are they tied to an email account?

EDIT: I tried setting one up in the iCloud reminder list and it still didn't fire the notification.

not sure what you could be doing wrong but mine worked fine. twice i have set one and they went off at perfect timing, right when i pulled onto my street 300 ft from home after work

I wonder if they work on an iPhone 3GS. I don't see what they would not but I have not seen anyone say they work on their 3GS so I guess it is possible. Good info to know they actually work in the beta.

I'm stumped. :(
