My wife, who never really used our Sonos speakers, is now fighting me over the location of the HomePod since she loves the HomePod, so I'm thinking of buying another today.... but......

Does anyone here own 2? How does Siri handle that? The microphones on the HomePod I have will pick up my Hey Siri from 2 rooms away......

My concern is that when you are saying repeated music commands that one HomePod my hear one and another HomePod would hear the next one, etc even though they would be in separate rooms.

I have two side by side (4ft apart), 2 iPads and my iPhone X within a 8 foot radius.
The phone will blink, both homepads will glow but the HomePod closest will handle the request.

I currently have a MBPro, iPad, and iPhone sitting here on the desk and am wearing an Apple watch as per normal. Siri only responds on one device, so apparently only one Siri response occurs. My two HP's are on different floors, so no problems there. The HP's seem to be more sensitive (pick up softer voices), and seem to have Siri priority over other devices in that the HP Siri responds, even when my iPhone, iPad, laptop have slightly closer proximity or when I am across the room and my phone and laptop are sitting next to it. I have no idea if this is true, but has been my brief experience over the past 24hrs.

I am liking this feature, if it is one :0)).......b/c the Siri voice response volume and clarity on the HP is obviously better than on the iphone/ipad/laptop when I am across the room. Although conversely, it is also possible that the HP Siri can "hear" me better across the room and the other devices don't respond because they don't pick up my voice. Programming or HP speaker superiority?
