Anyone buying an iPhone in France?

My father is currently there and i asked him to bring me the new iPhone 5. but i don't know how the availability in france is, if they sell the GSM version unblocked and stuff like that.

So, has anyone ever bought an iPhone there at launch date or can anyone recommend me a french site where i can check this stuff?
