anyone buying from Radio Shack?

All local ATT store, apple store, target and bestbuy are out of any iPhone6+.
Tried Radio Shack, they have plenty in stock, great!

ME, identity : Authorized user on my dad's ATT account.

walked in, talked to them I wanted to upgrade my ATT number using NEXT program. and being told only Account holder can do the NEXT in their store,
go back to home with nothing.

just wondering, it that true? because ATT CS told me that as a authorized user, I can do upgrade , even NEXT on my own, why Radio Shack needs Account holder? it is the store-specified policy? or the Radio Shack guy just doesn't want to sell me anything?

I think they need the primary even at the Apple Store. I saw someone wait for like an hour till the primary could show up and complete the transaction
