Anyone Call UPS to do a Will call/hold for pickup?

Wondering if I should just do hold for pickup and pick it up in the morning early or let them deliver.

On the same note did anyone call to have UPS reroute the package to another address? Do they allow that?

I tried this a while back on another signature delivery and was told they have to make a first attempt delivery.
