Anyone?? Camera/Photo App will not work in the Message App

Is anyone experiencing a problem with taking a pic and or choosing a pic to send FROM the messaging app? After I press the camera icon, I see options to select "Photo Library, Take Photo or Video or Cancel", if I touch any of those, my phone goes to the blue screen and then goes back to the Home Screen.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

BTW, I updated to 8.0.2 (earlier today) and on a 6 Plus...

mine works fine on my plus.. but what you describe is what my 4s used to do. The solution on my 4 was to close any other apps I had open, seems it just didn't like to work right most of the time, IF I had other things open. So far I've tried several times and it's worked flawlessly.

I have turned the phone off and back on, and have quit all other apps (in background). I will try a reset and see. Thanks to all.

Just tried the reset and it did not work. I get no action or anything that makes it seem like I am actually pressing any of the said options before it goes to the blue screen...and then back to the home screen. In fact I don't have to press anything (after pressing the camera icon) and it just goes to the blue screen and then to home screen (about 5 seconds later).

Actually I did. Camera+. I deleted it and did a reset and it didn't work. I haven't done a hard reset. I guess I will try that. Thanks all
