$1000? Come on. And how are these US sellers getting away without activating?
 
They didn't make me activate mine when I bought it. AT&T wasn't given the new iTunes software and their in-store computers don't allow software installations, so they just made you promise to activate it through iTunes.

I thought about selling mine for a few minutes but decided against it.
 
not a bad initial investment I suppose... you could sell it on eBay, turn around and buy another one the next day.
 
Remember, If you don't activate it within 30 days, AT&T will demand the phone be returned.
If you sell it, I'm sure they will have no problems charging your card the FULL "No Contract" price for "missing" phone.

Some people obviously failed to read the fine print on that contract they signed before they walked out the door with their phone. :rolleyes:
