Anyone Checking Retail Stores for 13" rMBP This Morning

Since east coast stores should be opening up soon, can anyone report on any stock that might be available? I know the 15" rMBP's were available the morning after the announcement.
 
Lets keep this thread active. I'm going to call a couple stores today.

Of course the problem is the clueless retail staff (bless them). They will tell you either they've never heard of it, or flatly tell you they have no stock when there are dozens on display right in front of them

Stores i've called have said sometime in November. One said 3 weeks.
 
Ordered a 13" rMBP online yesterday after the local stores had NO estimate of when they will get stock. It already shipped (from China), and shows Monday delivery to my house!!!

same for me. I ordered mine last night shipped and should be here monday
 
Any of you with orders that shipped have anything newer than a Export Scan on UPS?
 
Just picked one up at the apple store here in Houston! They got them in with their afternoon shipment
 
Anyone check the Eaton Centre Apple store in Toronto yet?

I'm going to stop by after work. I'll update with whether or not they have it in stock
 
Apple store in Mapleview Centre in Burlington, Ontario has some. I just came from it. To be honest it is nothing special just a 13' inch of the 15' released in july with less specs. Don't know what all this hype is about.

The 13" MacBook Pro is their best selling MacBook Pro. The hype is the retina and.... thinner, lighter, faster, better, MacBook-ier.

It's for the pro in all of us. Obviously your not a pro.

Hi, any chance you might check the image for Retention? I'm sure many people here would love to know whether the 13' Macbook has this problem. Who is the manufacturer of your screen?

I've had a 2010 and 2012 13' MacBook Pro. I love everything about my MacBook Pro. All I am saying is why is everyone waiting for a 13' retina that has less specs than the non retina and with a price that is ridiculous. You are better off getting the 15' retina which most people on here who waited for the 13' are now getting the 15'. And wtf is "MacBook-ier"?

If you are in a hurry to get it you could always drive to burlington, they had alot in the apple store in Mapleview. I talk to the guy about them getting it fast and he said they have another shipment on the weekend as well lol.
 
Wow so strange.. Cause I walked into the Sydney Australia store today and they said that they have plenty of stock! Not that that helps you guys at all lol

These people are Apple employees.

That 13".Retina is DOA at the price Apple put on it.
