Anyone current use the EyeTV with their macbook pro + 24" ACD setup?

I'm curious about this EyeTV and if it handles hdtv well. I currently have comcast cable and wanting to use the EyeTV to stream and record hdtv contents straight to my unibody mbp + 24" LED ACD.

Anyone here done this or any experience with EyeTV? Can it get all the channels up to 400 for the HDTV from comcast?

It should be able to tune any HD channel that Comcast broadcasts in clear QAM. Comcast is different in each region, so you'll have to do some legwork to figure out how it is in your area.

The only HD channels my cable company does in clear QAM are the locals. Everything else requires a device that supports cablecards or one of their tuner boxes to decode/tune.
