Anyone doing iOS development on the base 2018 MBA?

I wonder if the base 2018 MBA with 8GB RAM and the 128GB SSD is enough for doing iOS development. I want to get started with it and currently have a base 2010 C2D 2.4GHz MBP 13 with 8GB RAM and a 320GB HDD. Thanks for any help.
