Since I upgraded my iPhone 4S to IOS 6 I can now access all photos from the lock screen without putting the pass code in. A quick press of the home button and I'm into the phone with full access! Is this just me??

This happened after taking a pic whilst the phone was locked, I didn't test it before a pic had been taken from the lock screen but now I can bypass security every time.

Lock the phone so a passcode is required and try it again. Make sure a passcode is required to get it - then you cannot sneak in through the camera.

Ok What's happening is before the update when I pressed the sleep button it pass locked the phone now it just has a slider saying slide to unlock. In this state you can access the phone without a passcode. This means its now not safe to put my phone down somewhere until enough time has elapsed since I press the sleep button.

Check the setting in General/Passcode Lock under require Passcode (time)
Of course you also need to turn Require Passcode On.

Nope, with passcode enabled, I can't even see the pics in my photo album when I access the camera. It says "your phone is locked, unlock to access photos" or something like that. Exiting the camera and it asks for my passcode. Just as it should be.

Have you got 'ask for pass code immediately' on? If you have a time limit it will allow access to the phone until that time elapses.
