anyone else able to send mm email from iPhone?

I've been getting the following error all day long:

Cannot Send Mail

The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.me.com" failed.

Anyone else?
 
also, does anyone else's mm account settings on the iPhone say the account name is "<name>.mac.com"? I was expecting "me.com"
