I will admit, the first time I saw the iPhone 5, I thought it looked goofy and thought the longer screen was useless. I wished it had a wider screen.

But after getting my 5 today and playing with it, I am now in love with the longer screen.

- I can view more of the webpage vertically.
- You can more viewing area when the keyboard is in use.
- In horizontal mode when playing games (iPhone 5 optimized game such as Wild Blood) you get more middle viewing area since the controls are off to the side.

If you're a dedicated iPhone user that wants to keep up with the technology, do you really have any other choice but to eventually love the new size?

Honestly barely noticed it. Said I wow when I first saw it and that's the last time I processed it til I read your post lol
Funny, was buying a case (local vzw) they didn't even have a demo display model and this couple was looking to pre-order it. Being nice I let them touch mine and they opted to buy the 4S cause they felt the screen was too long. M'kay lol

Thought it was a massive mistake at first! But being able to hold the phone and do everything in the orientation that I mostly use like I used to, while having a larger screen is great. Found it especially useful in Calendar.

It's human nature to complain about new things. MS Office, FB layout etc and then they just eventually accept things.

I personally don't like the bigger screen phones and I may not totally like the longer screen... but I'll take that over walking around with a CALCULATOR type phone.

With iPhone 5 in hand, it's neither good or bad.

In AppleLand the only thing that matters is Apples profits.

Sales being at record levels, the display is meaningless.
