anyone else CPU getting really hot when running Vista? (32bit)

So i installed vista over the weekend and have been using it for a couple of school purposes and the bottom is getting really hot. When i check iStat it says 89C. I downloaded smcFancontrol but its been giving me some trouble.

yeah im having the same issue with vista just running it without doing any work runs the cpu around 80+ C .. anyway with leopard it runs while surfing and msn around 55c CPU & 65c GPU under MAC OSX .. so is this all a normal numbers ? ..


MBP 2.2 120GB 2GB 128MB 8600M GT (always hookedup with 22" Dell).. A new logicboard just replaced a week ago after failure , do u guys think its something with the thermal paste or its normal ?
