Out of curiosity, on MBP 2011, after installing Windows 7 x64 and booting into it to install the bootcamp drivers from Cd...

When I first try to shut down, the system freezes and fans kick up to high speed forcing me to force shutdown. It only happens on the first shutdown within windows 7 and doesnt happen for future times after that.

Does anyone else experience the same "glitch"?

I don't think mine did -- though it did install a bajillion updates, if I remember correctly.

It's very important to insure your Mac is fully updated before doing this setup.

Mine runs very well, just a bit hot which is normal.

Mine does this, MBP 2011 With Vertex 3 SSD. Windows 7 x64. But it does it every time i try to shutdown or restart in windows 7. I still havnt found a fix or a reason why. Everything is up to date.
