FINALLY, after four years I decided to upgrade to the S7 Nike edition. Nothing prior to this made me want to jump but honestly I could have gone with the S6.

My S3 Nike works completely fine as of today and the awful Apple upgrade bug has since been resolved. I’ll miss this thing for sure but VZ’s $200 trade in offer was too good to miss.

Anyone else moving on?

coming from a 42mm space gray aluminum which I got on launch day. It’s going to be a big upgrade going to a 45mm natural titanium. I can’t comprehend how big this thing is going to look but I’m excited

I upgraded from a Series 3 42mm to a Series 7 41mm and it feels great! Screen is much bigger, device looks much more compact and less square-like, and AoD is very useful. It also charges very fast compared to my S3. Very happy overall!

Please report your (dis)satisfaction. My 3 just died and I have decisions to make.

Coming from a Silver SS series 3, I got the 45 Silver SS series 7. I get it in a couple of days, but I’m excited.

In all honesty, my series 3 still works well. Battery health is 98%. But I can tell as we get more updates, apps take longer to open up. So I’m excited for a faster watch.

My situation too. My SS S3 was working fine, battery health was actually at 100%, somehow. But apps were slow and the watch face selection was limited. I had the cellular model so at least updates always went smoothly. Screen finally popped off recently and even though I was able to get it back on, I figured it was time to upgrade.

And man am I blown away by the S7. It really smokes my S3 in every way as I hoped it would. The screen is intense and makes the S3’s tiny square display feel like a toy in comparison. I am loving the AOD and it makes this thing actually feel like a watch instead of a “device.” I also like the subtly smoother and rounder shape. It feels just a bit more elegant and evolved than the S3 design. And of course the speed. It’s way snappier than the S3 ever was even when new.

Battery life has been good even with AOD and cellular. I’m usually at about 50% by the end of a 16 hour day of mixed use. Overall it has been a very worthwhile upgrade and feels like a huge leap coming from an S3 or earlier.

I moved from S3 to S7 too. Its a huge upgrade both in terms of speed and screen size. S3 battery is still good, near 95%. Could have got a couple of more years on S3 as the hardware is still very good, but then the software would have got slower and slower with every Watch OS update.
