Anyone else find their keyboard "mushy"?

Hey Everyone.

Just got my i7 13" MBP and i'm finding they keyboard very mushy. For example, there isn't much as "click" when i depress a key, compared to my BT Aluminum KB. Also, it takes a lot less pressure to press down a key compared to my BT KeyBoard i have here. Anyone else finding the same differences? or is it just me?

Sounds like Apple is making their keyboards softer like in the MBA. I didn't notice a difference when I tried them out in store though.

Not really. I have a 2009 MBP and this one (2011 mbp 15) is exactly how that one was when it was new. I've used the first gen unibody mbp's and it feels just like my 2009 mbp.

I say it's probably just because it's new. Wait till it's broken in / you'll get used to it.

i completely agree with you... i feel like the current (first release of unibody macbook) has more or a "pop" or "click" to the buttons vs. the 2011 15 pro i have. i thought i was crazy and wasnt going to say anything. im someone else agrees with me!

Yeah, I noticed it straight away. The keyboard on my mid-2009 unibody was far nicer. Performance rocks though so won't be switching back!

I noticed a lot more "give" on a stock 2011 15" I purchased, compared with my 2010 15".
The older keyboard is a bit more firm...

My 13" i5 MBP keyboard is certainly softer than my late "08 MacBook but I quite like it hah.

My keyboard is pretty soft with out any clicks apart from my space bar - thats a bit rattly

I poured some porridge on my keyboard, so that makes it REALLY mushy. I joke . I have noticed that my 2011 is quieter by just a bit, than my 2010. I like it, because I can still work at night without disturbing my roommate.
