Hi Just looked at O2 website:

and under existing iphone users it says:

Existing iPhone customersUpgrade early to 3G
Get the new 3G iPhone before 11th Oct. 2008


says July when you click on link though

edit: Just realised they mean that you can upgrade before 11th October. Pheeeew thought there was going to be a delay there. I can be rather slow sometimes.........
