I happily ordered two iphones on June 9th. Would have done it on the 8th but kept getting server error. Last week (16th) I had not seen anything but "not yet shipped" so I called Apple to make sure I would still receive my phones by Friday. Talked to Angela, who told me "no problem," mine was being shipped from Tennessee. Of course this is what I wanted to believe, so I accepted her "not a problem". Later in the day, I get "prepared for shipment" so I am thinking this is all good. Overnight, I get a email from Apple stating the orders are cancelled indicating an "AT&T" problem. Of course, I call again and talk to the Apple Store Team in Texas...nothing we can do....it.s an AT&T problem. So I ask to speak with a Manager. Manager Paul was insistant that Angela had not misspoken about those Tennessee phones and perhaps it wasn't AT&T's fault because he really didn't know why the order was cancelled. Perhaps some new iphone cases would make me feel better? Not really, bought two at the apple store 4 days earlier. Actually Paul, I just wanted my two iphones: one black and one white, delivered as soon as possible. So Paul was going to check on my order and expedite them. Were these to be the "Tennessee phones?" Nope, got my tracking numbers and I guess these are coming from China on the 25th. In the span of a lifetime 6 days is probably no big deal but I have been a good customer for 20 years and just maybe the Apple Store team should be a little more teamish.
