I'm finding that if I bump my iPhone in my pocket with my hand, or against the counter, or even sit down quickly, I feel it vibrate like an alert is going off. But there's no alert. Then I tried to lightly smack the phone against my palm and I can feel the vibrator wheel (yeah yeah, har har) in the phone going off. Anyone else having this problem or is it just loose on my phone?

I believe the teardowns have shown there is no vibrator wheel, but instead has an oscillating vibrator.

I don't have this issue, but maybe the silencer switch is loose on yours?

Or have you had a Blackberry too long… :p

Ha, I haven't had a blackberry since 2007 when I got the first iPhone on launch day. But if you're not having issues, maybe I'll need to swap it.

I have a pentalobe screwdriver I was eager to use. I simply took mine apart and cut out the vibrator. It's of no use to me anyway. My phones lighter now, a secondary benefit :)
