Hi everyone,

The Magic Mouse gets a lot of criticism, mostly for ergonomics and the charging port. I do understand the ergonomics part, there are definitely more comfortable mice out there.

But personally, I really enjoy using it. I really like all the gestures, smooth scrolling and the look of it. The charging has been a non issue for me since the battery lasts very long and I get a warning well before it runs out of battery.

Anyone else here happy with the Magic Mouse? Disappointed users welcome too!

these are a literal game changer ergonomically. It goes from something I can't use long, to something I can use indefinitely.

The gestures and all are nice.

I still have the lightning port model in black, 5 years or so and it's still humming along. I bought a fancy Logitech gaming mouse that was on a deep sale, and it's a cool variation, but it requires a dongle and I end up levitating back to MM at least 95% of the time.

I need to look at these. Maybe this will make me able to use the Apple Magic Mouse.

As to the OP question no not happy. It has nothing to do with the stupid charging port. I think people that complain about that just want to complain about something. They will complain that water is wet or not wet, depending on how they feel like complaining. You plug it in once every few weeks or a month and it’s done. It’s a non-issue.

The issue is the thing is so thin that with my big hands it causes cramps if I use it for more than a few minutes.

I used one since the 1st gen. Loved it. Had to move to a trackball when I developed tremors about a year ago. Been through 2 of those and still miss the Magic Mouse. I do business apps and Lightroom/Photoshop.

I don’t have any issues with it and really like the scrolling capabilities of it. I find most mice particularly with scroll wheels gave a granular rather than smooth scroll. Due to liking the Magic Mouse so much I now use a Microsoft Arc for work which has the same scrolling.
