Anyone else hate the new messages image preview?

What I am talking about is when you tap an image you got messaged (imessage, SMS), and it opens up full screen.

I find it takes about a second to load fully, and I think it's ridiculously annoying.

Maybe it's just me - but before I didn't have to deal with a brief spinning wheel animation before it loaded. Before, it just opened immediately in full screen.

Yeah, and it also shows the file name of the picture in the top menu bar now (for example IMG_2205.jpg) which I think is useless. I'm thinking that's just debug info for the beta but who knows.

I hate it, takes forever to load a photo sometimes.

There is a plus, however. Animated gifs are now animated when you open up the full screen viewer. Give and take I guess, I assume as the betas progress the load time will decrease

Yeah I have noticed its a bit slower, but I think this is just the photos app in general - I've also noticed its slower when trying to select a picture in other apps - it will just freeze for a few seconds before it works. Should be better by GM, hopefully.
