General Anyone else have a porn site ad pop up from Cydia?

like most ads, they look at what you have previously been searching for online or which websites you have visited... ;-)
It's not that at all. The pop up I think he's talking about appears after installing a repo.
If you're jailbreaking to get out of Apple's walled garden, you'll end up in other parts of town.

I had it happen literally immediately after the Evasi0n jailbreak was released. Jailbroke it for the first time and with a smile on my face loaded up Cydia and started browsing a few apps. BAM huge porn ad loaded up on my screen - not nice stuff either, pretty nasty stuff. Not the best first impression at all...
Haven't had it happen again a single time since then in almost 3 weeks. Bizarre.. wish I could remember which app or repo I was on, but it wasn't a dodgy one, would have been either Bigboss or ModmyI.

OP - Did you add any repos? If so, which ones?
I've been jailbreaking since Aug. '07 and have never seen anything like that.
I had it happen to me on EITHER BigBoss of ModMyi on a fresh iphone restore immediately after jailbreaking so we can rule out existing cookies or dodgy repo's etc. The ad appeared where the regular adverts appear, and then expanded to take up virtually the whole screen.
I only ever had a porn popup show on a cracked repo while I was in school (Was like OH **** TURN OFF BEFORE TEACHER COMES BY). But I have a hosts file to block ads, so maybe I do get a lot of porn popups on the default repos, because I get popups but they are blank cause they are blocked.
Porn adds pay a LOT! He may already know and have a fat wad of money in the bank! 99.9% of dudes look at porn so he may have excepted a few offers, but i dont see him excepting worldwidehiphop or brazzer (new tabs opinging as people read this lol)

Never had a porn pop-up on my iPhone or iPad and Im not averse to a little porn browsing, although never on the phone.
Biteyourapple, sinful, insanelyi, xsellize, and nooneimportant something... Has the updated xCon. I think that's it other than stock.
