For example, voice dial 443-222-5555. It doesn't matter if you tell Siri to "call" or "dial". It always misses the first "4".

This happened at some point after iOS 7. I suspected that the problem was Siri's search has evolved so much that it mistakes the first 4 for "for".

Based on that, I found a workaround, which is to add an extra 4 at the start.

For example, try to voice dial 4443-222-5555. Siri will say "Dialing/calling for 443-222-5555".

I find it silly that after saying "call" or "dial" Siri would favor "for" over "4". Apple needs to remove "for" from its vocabulary after saying call/dial. I've never hear of the name "For" in English.

Anyone know any other ways around this issue or if a fix is in the works?
