I got my UP3 band a few days ago. I had pre-ordered it well before the Apple Watch came out, and had expected for a Christmas delivery. Of course, it was extremely delayed. Even though I now have an Apple Watch, I decided not to cancel the order just to play around with that, and because it has some sensors that the Apple Watch does not have (sleep tracker, galvanic skin response, etc.)
I wear it on my dominant hand, alongside an Apple Watch on my non-dominant hand.
My initial impressions are: Man, the metal clasp is hard to put on. They made it this way so it would be adjustable for all different sizes, but it's night and day from what Apple has done to make their bands extremely easy to put on.
The sleep tracker is way better then the UP24 has it now measures resting heart rate and somehow determines REM sleep. The software doesn't seem to do anything regarding galvanic skin response even though this supposedly has a sensor for that.
